On their last visit to the Northamptonshire track two months ago, Lebbon qualified on the front row of the grid for two races, Tom going on to score his and Elite Motorsport’s maiden GB3 victory while John recorded sixth and ninth place finishes.
Lebbon and Bennett are placed sixth and eighth in the Driver’s standings with Elite fourth in the Teams’ rankings after the last two events stages at Snetterton (25-26 Jun) and Spa (23-24 Jul).
At Elite’s “home” track, Lebbon posted two fifth placings with Bennett recording a best sixth place finish. Last weekend in Belgium, despite showing good pace, Spa debutant John produced a spectacular fightback drive to fifth place while Tom’s best result was a sixth.
Eddie Ives, Team Owner & Manager
“We have shown good pace in the last two GB3 events but we’ve been left unrewarded in terms of actual race results."
“Both Tom and John were especially unfortunate in the most recent event at Spa as they both drove well.
“We were really strong at Silverstone earlier in the season so we are looking to replicate that as we get into the final half of the season.”
