The reigning GT4 SuperCup champions are eagerly looking forward to the next races at Knockhill. Emson, who currently lies fourth in the standings, recorded a second-place finish in the corresponding event last year in which Elite’s Adam Smalley, who ultimately won the 2021 Driver’s “crown”, scored two wins.
Knockhill marks a return to race action following a seven week summer break since two races staged at Oulton Park (11-12 Jun). Emson, who started fifth, classified third in the 13-lap Race 1 with Tom recovering from an incident on the restart lap of Race 2, to take seventh at the chequered flag.
Eddie Ives, Team Owner & Manager
“We enjoyed great success at Knockhill last year and we’re very hopeful that Tom can be in podium contention for all three races.
“It’s been a tough start to our SuperCup campaign this year but I’m confident we’ve turned the corner with the new Ginetta G56 GT4.
“I'm sure Tom will be fighting at the sharp end for the remainder of the season and scoring top results.”
